Expedition Mode

Expedition Mode allows you to deploy teams of vessels on time-based missions to gather valuable resources and rewards without active gameplay. This strategic feature helps maximize your progress by putting vessels to work even when you're not actively playing.

Core Mechanics

Location Selection

• Multiple expedition locations available across different regions (Dopamis, Zendor, Sera)
• Each location offers unique resources and rewards
• New regions unlock as you progress through Story Mode
• Quest pools refresh automatically at set intervals

Team Formation

• Form teams of 3 vessels for each expedition
• Vessels must meet quest-specific requirements to participate:
• Minimum vessel level/ascension
• Specific race or subrace requirements
• Rarity requirements

Expedition Types

• Standard Expeditions: Use your own vessels to complete missions
• Friend Expeditions: Special missions requiring vessels from your friends list
• Each expedition has varying durations (1-12 hours) with rewards scaling accordingly

Bonus Conditions & Effects

Matching specific team compositions provides powerful bonuses:

• Race Bonuses: Teams with specific race combinations receive bonuses
• Subrace Bonuses: Certain subraces excel in specific regions
• Vessel Abilities: Individual vessels may have expedition-specific boosts

Potential bonuses include:

• Increased reward quantities (10-30%)
• Improved special reward drop rates (5-15%)
• Reduced expedition duration (10-20%)

Expedition Management

Starting Expeditions

1. Select an available location
2. Choose qualifying vessels for your team
3. Review bonus conditions and estimated rewards
4. Deploy your team by pressing "Send"

During Expeditions

• Teams remain engaged for the full expedition duration
• Progress is tracked with countdown timers
• You can cancel expeditions early (with no rewards)
• Skip remaining time with premium currency (cost scales with remaining time)

Completing Expeditions

• Receive notification when expeditions complete
• Collect rewards individually or use "Collect All" button
• Vessels become available for new expeditions
• Expedition slots refresh with new quests

Rewards System

Regular Rewards

• Guaranteed resources like Bytes, ROM, and crafting materials
• Quantity determined by quest rarity, duration, and team bonuses

Special Rewards

• Chance to receive rare items like blueprints and parts
• Drop rates influenced by quest rarity and vessel bonuses
• Higher rarity quests offer more valuable special rewards

Expedition Limitations

• Limited number of simultaneous expeditions
