Introduction to Team Synergies
In Sipher Odyssey, building the perfect team isn't just about choosing your favorite Vessels—it's about creating powerful combinations that enhance everyone's abilities! Team Synergies allow you to maximize your squad's effectiveness through strategic Vessel selection.
Team Buffs
Team Buffs are special bonuses that certain Vessels provide to the entire team. These buffs activate automatically when the Vessel is in your party.
Important Notes:
- Only one Team Buff of each Vessel type will activate, even if you bring multiple copies of the same Vessel
- Team Buffs scale with Vessel rarity—Legendary Vessels provide the most powerful team bonuses
Available Team Buffs

Rare | Inu Bioz | +5% All Damage for all team members |
Rare | Neko Synthetic | +5% Damage Reduction for all team members |
Rare | Buru Mecha | +5% Max HP for all team members |
Epic | Inu Cyborg | +5% All Damage, +5% Damage Reduction, +5% Max HP for all team members |
Epic | Neko Phasewalker | +10% Range for ranged weapons, +10% Melee Damage for all team members |
Epic | Buru Inferno | Creates a shield equal to 10% Max HP at battle start for all team members |
Legendary | Inu Cosmic | -20% Skill Cooldown for all team members |
Legendary | Neko Crystalis | +20% Critical Chance, +20% Critical Damage for all team members |
Legendary | Buru Ancient | +10% Max HP, +10% Damage Reduction for all team members |
Example:
If you bring three Inu Bioz Vessels into a match, your team will only receive the +5% All Damage buff once, not three times (it won't stack to 15%).
Team Synergy System
The real power of teamwork comes from combining different Vessels to unlock special Synergy effects!
How Team Synergies Work:
- Team Synergies activate when you have at least three Vessels in your team
- When synergy conditions are met, special buffs activate for your entire team
- You can check active synergies by clicking the exclamation mark that appears when team members are present
- Multiple synergies can activate simultaneously if conditions for each are met
Viewing Your Synergies:
- Look for the exclamation mark that appears when you have team members
- Click it to open the Synergy Information window
- Active synergies will be highlighted at the top of the window
- Use arrows to scroll through all possible synergies
- Click anywhere outside the window or the "X" button to close
Important Note:
Team Synergies are not applied in Arena matches to maintain competitive balance.
TAG Roles Synergies
For advanced team building, you can create powerful combinations based on TAG roles. Vessels from the same TAG often have passive abilities that benefit teammates with the same designation.
Available TAG Roles:
Organic
- Vessels: Inu Canis, Neko Felis, Buru Tribal
- Synergy Focus: Natural survivability and adaptability
Mecha
- Vessels: Inu Cyborg, Neko Synthetic, Buru Mecha
- Synergy Focus: Technical prowess and defensive capabilities
Elemental
- Vessels: Inu Bioz, Neko Phasewalker, Buru Inferno
- Synergy Focus: Elemental damage and status effects
Supernatural
- Vessels: Inu Cosmic, Neko Crystalis, Buru Ancient
- Synergy Focus: Mystical powers and energy manipulation
Specialist Team Synergies
Beyond basic TAG roles, specialized team combinations can unlock unique and powerful effects:
- Some synergies modify base stats for the entire team
- Others apply special effects or skills to all team members
- These synergies also work in Co-op mode, where the system will check your co-op party members to determine which synergies activate

For Beginners:
- Start with a Legendary Vessel for a powerful Team Buff
- Add complementary Vessels that enhance your main Vessel's strengths
- Focus on a single TAG role for consistent benefits
For Advanced Players:
- Build teams around specific synergies rather than individual power
- Consider enemy types in upcoming dungeons when selecting team composition
- Balance offense and defense through strategic Vessel combinations
- Experiment with cross-TAG combinations for unexpected benefits
