The Starr Drop system is a unique reward mechanism in Sipher Odyssey that allows players to potentially upgrade the rarity of their rewards through interactive tapping before revealing the contents.
Basic Mechanics
- All Starr Drops start at Uncommon rarity
- Players get 4 taps to potentially increase rarity
- Each tap has a chance to upgrade to: Rare, Epic, Legendary, or Mythic
- Rewards are pre-determined server-side
- Visual rarity upgrades are for entertainment
Types of Starr Drops
Random Starr Drop
- Multiple levels with different content pools
- Level progression:
- Level 1: Available by default
- Level 2: Unlocks at Account Level 10 & Dopamis 10 Normal completion
- Level 3: Unlocks at Account Level 20 & Dopamis 20 Normal completion
Scripted Starr Drop
- Fixed rewards based on server configuration
- Maximum rarity cap set by configuration
- Will reach configured rarity by final tap if not achieved earlier
Opening Process
- Receive Starr Drop from mission/objective completion
- Start at Uncommon rarity
- Use 4 taps to potentially increase rarity
- Automatically opens when reaching maximum rarity
- Multiple drops open sequentially
Important Notes
- Rewards are pre-determined when received
- Disconnections/crashes auto-deliver rewards
- Visual upgrades don't affect actual rewards
- Multiple drops process one at a time
- Progress saved between sessions
Tips
- Always use all 4 taps
- Higher account level unlocks better drop pools
- Complete Dopamis missions to unlock higher levels
- Rarity can jump multiple tiers in one tap
