Sipher Odyssey enables a player-driven economy where players can buy, trade, acquire, and sell commodities and items as a core element of its gameplay. You can consume resources you've gathered to craft equipment, or you can trade certain items on the Marketplace.

After reaching the required account level or meeting the requirements, players can access the Marketplace to trade with other players.

The Marketplace allows players to drive the state of the in-game economy. It is a place for players to trade, buy, or sell Sipher vessels, equipment, blueprints, and materials.

There are limits and restrictions to the types of items that can be traded in the game. Additionally, players must pay an upfront fee to sell items on the marketplace. This fee may be determined based on factors such as the type, rarity, and tier; and other economic factors such as power score inflation and the number of such assets in the playerbase or marketplace.
