Our landing on one of the Moons of Sipheria was a rough experience for the 1st Fleet, and in the aftermath of the First Great War, the factions united to make peace in order to build The Nexus, a forward base that was developed in order to ensure our survival while gradually collecting the necessary resources to reach Sipheria.

However, while resources for creating living spaces on the Moon are abundant, we have made very little way in ensuring a steady supply of food and water, as well as the creation of weapons and armor. Even worse, under hushed whispers at night, the discontentment of Sipherians from having limited ways to spend their free time, festers and grows rapidly.

As such, we have created the Nexus Expansion Program with the purpose of allowing our community to continue developing and building within the Nexus, to bring in the amenities that allow all Sipherians to have a better quality of life.

Thankfully, the Sipherians that have settled in The Nexus (such as yourself), come from different backgrounds, have a variety of skill sets, and most importantly have expressed the willingness to contribute to the development of our growing city - terraforming and helping us build the next "Forge", "Research Quarters", "Space Outfitters", "Armory" etc.

Due to the outpouring of passion from our community, we decided to work towards and create a self-sustainable and vibrant "Hub" in which our very own Sipherians add value via the contribution of their skills, community activities, and community-created projects or initiatives. We envision that most of this will be made possible via:

1. The use of a Community Wallet that will fund these projects or initiatives, and
2. The integration of Nanochips (a new Sipher "point system" exclusive to Discord), which are awarded to members for their contributions to our community or for taking part in community-planned events and activities.

The first and most important aspect of the program is the creation and funding of a Community Wallet. This should allow the incentivization for Sipherians to lend their skills, as well as work together to lead initiatives or create projects that benefit the community. For specific details of how this Community Wallet will be funded, how funds will be used, and when we expect to create it, please refer to the following section Community Wallet - Funding Sources, Uses, and ETA.

Nanochips will be used as a means by the Sipher Team to reward both community members who lend their skills to the Nexus' Building Projects, as well as community members who act as participants in these projects/initiatives. In terms of its use, Nanochips can be redeemable for future in-game cosmetics, future whitelist slots, or even free SIPHER Genesis NFTs.

We're extremely excited to see how The Nexus will grow, as well as which "buildings" will be constructed next (Note that the Nexus map (above) will be updated with additional buildings after the completion of projects or initiatives)

The following image shows a graphical representation of how the various groups in The Nexus will interact with one another to ensure there are checks and balances on community wallet spending and the execution of projects.

🔑 Stewards and Planners, the highly respected Council of Nine wields executive decision-making authority over any community proposed constructions (projects) on The Nexus. This burden/blessing of responsibility weighs heavily over the Council Members, who are expected to represent and protect the interests of all Sipherians, while still ensuring equitability to all parties involved.

Organization's Objectives

The Council of Nine serves as the representatives of our community and are tasked with the following:

1. Representing and Stewarding the Community's Interests as voted Community Representatives (Sipherian Council of Nine - Selection Process)
2. Maintaining and Upholding the Rules and Guidelines for the Council (These will be described in a Charter, which will be provided in a future update).
3. Handling the Nexus Project Proposal Process (Project Proposal Process).
4. Ensuring Projects get their funding (Project Funding Process)
5. Monitoring Active Nexus Projects (Project Monitoring & Evaluation).

Council of Nine Perks

1. Exclusive Title and Access to Council of Nine Building on the "Sipherian Worlds" Mode (should launch during Phase 9 as per the Roadmap). Access to this building will be available to current and previous Council Members.
2. Access to the following exclusive Discord Channel: Council of Nine
3. Stipend from Community Wallet - A fair base stipend, consistent with the degree of responsibility the Council holds, will be determined at a later date by the Sipher Team. Bonuses (if any, capped at 25%) will be determined solely by the Community every 3 months by way of voting. Note: For the purposes of avoiding any conflict of interest, the individual holding the Core Sipher Team Member's Seat on the Council will not be eligible for this Stipend.

🪙 The Financiers of Sipheria have various agendas and intentions - some benign, some altruistic, and others, opportunistic. While the internal workings of the exclusive Financiers are unknown to most, it is common knowledge that they wield immense monetary prowess and work internally to identify opportunities that bring profit to themselves, as well as that of the Nexus Treasury.

Organization's Objectives

The Financiers of Sipheria consist of Sipherians (and potentially the Sipher Team) whose objectives are as follows:

1. Funding the Community Wallet for General Purpose Use. (Refer to Community Wallet - Funding Sources, Uses, and ETA)

2. Partnering with the Council of Nine and Builders to Fund and Create Projects that serve their Individual or Group Specific Interests (Refer to the Financer's section of Project Proposal Process).

Financier of Sipheria Perks

1. Exclusive Title and Access to the Financier HQ (Building) on the "Sipherian Worlds" Mode (should launch during Phase 9 as per the Roadmap).
2. The Master Financier will also serve as a non-voting Advisor to the Council of Nine.
3. Financiers of Sipheria will be featured on the Hall of Frame upon their entry to the Financier's HQ.
4. Access to the following exclusive Discord Channels: Financier HQ

🔨 Industrious, Endlessly Creative, and Dreamers at heart, the Builders of Sipheria consist of Sipherians with talents in many areas, that have the willingness to form teams in order to take on bounties while putting their skills to the test. Masters at their own craft, the HQ serves largely as a meeting area for like-minded individuals.

Organization's Objectives

The Builders of Sipheria consist of individuals from all walks of life who have different skills and are willing to contribute or have already contributed to the expansion of The Nexus. Their objectives are as follows:

1. Become a hub where members can network and find other members with complementary skill sets for the execution of projects or initiatives.

2. Project Ideation and Proposal (Refer to the "Self-Initiated Project Proposal" section in Project Proposal Process)

3. Obtain Project Funding and Fair Payment for Executing on Projects and Initiatives, on top of acquiring Bounties of Nanochips from Sipher for the delivered project (Refer to Project Completion & Rewards)

Builders of Siphiera Perks

1. Exclusive Title and Access to Builders HQ (Building) on the "Sipherian Worlds" Mode (should launch during Phase 9 as per the Roadmap). Access will be available only for the 'Builder of Sipheria' Permanent Position and Above.
2. The Master Builder will also serve as a non-voting Advisor to the Council of Nine.
3. Builders of Sipheria, upon Delivery of a Project / Initiative, will be featured in the Hall of Fame for their contributions.
4. Access to the following exclusive Channels: Builders HQ

💡 The Citizens of Sipheria are the cornerstone of The Nexus, and as a democracy, they wield the power to approve Nexus Expansion Projects and to select and hold their elected Council Members accountable.

Citizen of Sipheria's Objectives

One of the most important residents of our fledgling hub is our Citizens of Sipheria. As a Citizen of Sipheria, you play a pivotal part in The Nexus, and have the following objectives:

1. Custodians of the Community Wallet - the Citizens of Sipheria are the final decision makers behind whether a project/initiative is approved and allowed to draw from Community Funds (Refer to Community Voting Process)
2. Electing the Council of Nine - the Citizens of Sipheria are the final decision makers on who gets voted into the Council of Nine, with the exception of the Sipher Core Member Council Seat and the Moderators (Refer to Sipherian Council of Nine - Selection Process)

Who gets to be a Citizen of Sipheria?

1. Sipher NFT Holders (Genesis NFTs only, until otherwise announced), who hold the 'True Sipher' role on Discord.
2. Sipherians (Community Members) without Sipher NFTs who have consistently shown their devotion to the community - by using their acquired Nanochips to purchase a Permanent Discord Role that confers Voting Rights.

How many Votes do I effectively have?

In true democratic spirit, all Genesis Sipher NFT Holders (Discord Members with the 'True Sipher' role) are eligible for 1 Vote - regardless of the total number of NFTs held. If a Discord Member holds both the 'True Sipher' role, along with the Permanent Discord Role with Voting Rights, they are still only eligible for 1 Vote.

👥 Seeking fulfillment and joy in the Nexus, Sipherians take part in the various Projects and Buildings constructed, bringing life to the fledgling community, and giving purpose to the expansion of the Nexus.

This Program is meant to benefit all community members in one way or another, either as a result of each of the projects and initiatives or from obtaining Nanochips that you can then exchange for rewards.
