Ather Labs’ flagship game is SIPHER ODYSSEY, an action packed ARPG roguelite targeting global market and all platforms, from Mobile to PC and Consoles, designed for both casual and competitive players. The game is designed to be easy to pick up but hard to master.
Our main studio is based in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam with offices in Danang and Hanoi. Our goal is to be the best mid-core gaming studio out of SEA, to bring Vietnam’s stories and passion for gaming and technology to the world!

đź’˘ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing software system architecture.
- Investigating BRD and use new technologies where relevant
- Work closely with product managers and UI/UX designers to understand feature specifications
- Develop features for mobile applications on Android, iOS (phone & tablet)
- Work closely with backend engineers/ 3rd parties for API/ SDK integration
- Develop good performance and UI/UX for end-users
- Communicate with other team members to determine the best solutions to difficult issues
- Writing high-level code.
- Troubleshooting and bug fixing.
- Identifying bottlenecks and improving software efficiency.
- Writing technical documents.
đź“Ś REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent education or experience.
- Prior leadership experience of an engineering organization
- 5+ years designing and building highly scalable distributed software systems
- 3+ years experience with iOs/Android React Native/ Native
- Advocate of engineering best practices such as CI/CD, clean code, automated testing etc.
- Capability to work on tight deadlines
- Excellent communication, written and verbal
- Excellent problem-finding and solution-finding skills
- Experienced with Unit tests, the UI Automation test is a plus
đź’« PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experienced with Unity or Unreal engine
- Blockchain knowledge or coding experience for projects on Ethereum/ EVM network
- Performance analysis and tuning experience including memory usage, CPU utilization, memory leak
- Hand-on experience in working with cloud services (e.g Firebase Cloud Messaging, AWS Cognito, S3,...)
