Ather Labs’ first game is SIPHER a lore-heavy Action RPG with a PVE Co-op Dungeon and PVP Battle Arena mode, designed for both casual and competitive players. The game is easy to pick up but hard to master.
Our founding team is based in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. However, we are an international group with hybrid roles, consisting of members from various backgrounds, including Vietnam, the US, Europe, Singapore, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Indonesia, and more.
✍️ Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing scalable web services, applications, and APIs.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand and deliver on their data-related requirements and initiatives.
- Lead the Identification, Design and Implementation of internal and external data process improvements and efficiencies.
- Lead the architectural design for API integration and execution to third parties.
- Translate business requirements and use cases into functional applications
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Review, test, and verify code for adherence to quality and security standards
- Ensure, the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality and organization
- Troubleshooting and bug fixing.
- Writing technical documents.
Requirements: 🌟
- 3+ years of experience
- Front-end development skills (Javascript, React/NestJS/VueJS)
- Back-end development skills (Node.js/NestJS/Mongo/PostgreSQL)
- Extensive experience in software design, architecture, development integration
- Strong experience in spring-boot, RESTful Web Services
- Experience with message queue strategies: Kafka
- Experience with RDBMS, SQL, and object/relational mappings, dealing with large data (MySQL, Postgres...), NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra...)
- Practical experience on one of Cloud Technologies (AWS, Google)
- Strong experience in back-end technologies and frameworks such as Java, Spring, Microservices, Rest API
- Capability to work on tight deadlines
- Excellent communication, written and verbal
- Excellent problem-finding and solution-finding skills
Nice to Have: 🌟
- Prior leadership experience of an engineering organization
- Experience in multiple major product releases
- Blockchain knowledge
- Experience with EVM and Solana blockchain (Operate blockchain, develop Smart contract & DApp, Exchange & marketplace, ...)
