Ather Labs’ flagship game is SIPHER ODYSSEY, an action packed ARPG roguelite targeting global market and all platforms, from Mobile to PC and Consoles, designed for both casual and competitive players. The game is designed to be easy to pick up but hard to master.
Our main studio is based in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam with offices in Danang and Hanoi. Our goal is to be the best mid-core gaming studio out of SEA, to bring Vietnam’s stories and passion for gaming and technology to the world!

✍️ Responsibilities:
- Character Design: Create visually stunning and unique 2D character designs that align with the project's artistic vision, narrative, and target audience.
- Character Illustration: Produce high-quality 2D illustrations of characters in various poses and expressions, showcasing their personalities and emotions effectively.
- Color and Texture: Apply appropriate colors, shading, and textures to the characters to enhance their visual appeal and fit seamlessly within the overall style of the project.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the art director, game designers, and other team members to ensure character designs align with the project's requirements and integrate well with the game mechanics or storytelling.
- Character Sheets: Create comprehensive character sheets with multiple views, poses, and facial expressions to guide the 3D artists or animators in the production pipeline.
- Research and Inspiration: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, art techniques, and new tools, drawing inspiration from various sources to push creative boundaries and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements: 🌟
- 1+ years of professional experience as a concept artist in the games industry or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of proportion, scale, perspective, lighting, and color.
- Mastery of relevant software packages, such as Photoshop, Painter, or similar software.
- Managing your time independently.
- Passion for making and playing games.
